Child Dental Benefits Scheme
The Child Dental Benefits Scheme (CDBS) is a Federal Government funded project which provides financial support for basic dental services for children where the following eligibility criteria is met:
The child is aged between 2 – 17 years for at least one day on the calendar year of the dental services provided.
The child is eligible to receive Medicare
Certain government benefits are received by the family, carer or guardian, e.g. Family Tax Benefit
At Centre for Dental Excellence, we participate in the CDBS. If your child is eligible and there are funds available, they can access a wide range of services including: examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions.
